About me

I read English at Queen Mary University of London before drama training at the Birmingham School of Acting, and started my professional career in 1995 in weekly rep.  Later that year I started working for React, pioneers in drama based training. Even later that year I met Jack Wild in pantomime.  I had a small part and he was the star.  We got on tremendously well from the start and were pretty much inseparable from then on. We married, and worked together whenever we could, appearing on numerous talk shows and documentaries, as well as many stage shows. When we weren’t performing we worked on his autobiography.

Alongside my acting career I continued working with React on creative learning experiences and I’m still an Associate with them today.

When Jack was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2001 he asked me to document his treatment, his thoughts and ideas both before and after the operation which lost him his voice.

He wanted to put this into a documentary along with all the other material from his archive. A project I still intend to complete. After Jack died in 2006, I completed his book which was published by Fantom in 2016.

I qualify as an executive coach in 2017.
